A leading proponent of global citizenship practice worldwide, the Melton Foundation looks back at 30 years of shaping young minds through experiential learning, skill development, and intercultural exposure.
Through our fellowship and collaborative programs, we promote and enable global citizenship as a way for individuals and organizations to work together across boundaries of place and identity to solve challenges in an interconnected world.
The Melton Fellowship offers diverse pathways for passionate individuals committed to fostering positive social change. Our two main entry points into our life-long Melton Fellowship are holistic, and aimed at change agents at different stages of their social impact journey.
The Global Solvers Accelerator brings together emergent agents of social change from across the globe for an impact-driven, project-focused, learning journey. Alternatively, the Global Citizenship Learning Program, for university students with an eagerness to explore Global Citizenship, serves as the second entry point, providing a 1.5-year comprehensive experiential learning experience. The ideal program for community development practitioners aged between 20 – 35 years, seeking to connect with like-minded peers and refine their social impact initiatives.
Open to university students with a passion for local community impact aged 18- 25 that are currently enrolled at one of our partner universities.
When connecting hearts, hands and minds, we can move history’s arc towards a more just and sustainable world!
We enable our fellows to learn about and act on issues in three core areas:
We have a responsibility towards future generations to be good stewards of our planet. It is our collective duty to act on issues affecting all of us on Earth.
All humans have the same basic needs and deserve the same rights and opportunities. Deep down, we are all the same, independently of race, religion, origin, or status.
We value the uniqueness in every culture, religion and identity. Our diverse backgrounds enrich our communities and expand our perspectives.
