A leading proponent of global citizenship practice worldwide, the Melton Foundation looks back at 30 years of shaping young minds through experiential learning, skill development, and intercultural exposure.
Through our fellowship and collaborative programs, we promote and enable global citizenship as a way for individuals and organizations to work together across boundaries of place and identity to solve challenges in an interconnected world.
The Global Citizenship Convention aims to provide a platform for Melton Fellows, Global Solver Accelerator participants, and partners from our Global Citizenship Hubs around the world to convene and connect, explore, exchange, and collaborate to further Global Citizenship and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We enable our fellows to learn about and act on issues in three core areas:
We have a responsibility towards future generations to be good stewards of our planet. It is our collective duty to act on issues affecting all of us on Earth.
All humans have the same basic needs and deserve the same rights and opportunities. Deep down, we are all the same, independently of race, religion, origin, or status.
We value the uniqueness in every culture, religion and identity. Our diverse backgrounds enrich our communities and expand our perspectives.
